Subject: big pine key on day 3 of allowance riot<br/>

<div>&amp; when no guests arrived after several hours</div>
<div>i&nbsp;wrote in large letters with red masking tape on my bumper the single word</div>
<div>allowanc e</div>
<div>with the final letter even more spaced out for emphasis than above</div>
<div>so people would at least be able to easily identify me as the allowance party giver</div>

<div>&amp; before long a carload of lovelies pulled up right behind me on the causeway &amp; emptied out</div>
<div>&amp; all were obviously in a good mood</div>
<div>so i jumped out of the truck too &amp; asked</div>
<div>are you here to party</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&amp; they said sure</div>
<div>&amp; even tried to make out the word allowanc e on my bumper</div>
<div>&amp; one said</div>
<div>oh that must be so people will keep their distance</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&amp; i said oh no i want people to come here &amp; get their allowance</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&amp; they wanted to know how to get it</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&amp; i said just ask for it</div>
<div>or no </div>
<div>you dont even have to ask for it</div>
<div>but i will just give it to you</div>
<div>&amp; offered it to them directly in for example bourbon</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>that didnt interest them</div>
<div>&amp; in fact it soon became evident that they had come only to see the famous tidal chute in the culvert under the causeway</div>
<div>which i assured them they could safely joyride thru</div>
<div>as i too had also done many times</div>
<div>but they were soon gone</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>i was even left with the feeling that i had put them off with the bourbon offer</div>
<div>&amp; should rather have asked them first what they wanted their allowance to be</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&amp; must remember to do this in future</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>only 2 other prospective celebrants arrived all day</div>
<div>to make a grand total of 6</div>
<div>indeed all 6 on day 2 alone</div>
<div>&amp; these latter 2 visited only to jump start me after my battery had run down from listening to the radio too much</div>

<div>on which btw i didnt hear a single word about the party</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>so today i am allowing that so far i am the only allowance rioter in sight anywhere in this entire er corn field of dreams</div>

<div>but it is only day 3</div>
<div>&amp; several people have said already that they will come</div>
<div>so back to mig torch now i go without delay in case anyone does come</div>

<div>&amp; thats my favorite perch anyway</div>
<div>so it wont be hard at all in the pristine solitude there to imagine a positive riot too</div>
<div>whether anyone else ever comes for their allowance or not</div>
