it appears an approaching cold front will actually be pushing the
cay to shining key 86ing prohibition tour
all the way down into the real keys by the weekend

& thus the present leg of the overall magical mystery megapointing miniexpedition will soon be er history

so with final flourishes of highest salute to laorospo & glhemaokpa a foregone conclusion
i have still been feeling the desire for some final entertainment or caper
on this the last big push southward & eastward
when i discovered in my delorme florida road atlas the intriguingly named if not also populated mirror image places of coronet & tenoroc
one of them 6 miles southwest of & the other 6 miles northeast of
yikes
lake mirror
yikes
itself located in downtown lakeland

& coronet proves to be a real hamlet but tenoroc is evidently only an old mine or ghost town
so it is apparently not quite so perfect a match as i had hoped
but certainly worth a look & a try
because
i have previously visited the living dotsero & the ghost orestod mirror image localities
situated at the opposite ends of a colorado railroad spur line
& have on still another occasion found the only known living pair of neighboring mirror villages in the usa
namely colver & revloc
in central pennsylvania
& both of them in that case were alive & living

so bagging coronet & tenoroc along with their bonus mirror lake will represent a culmination of sorts
namely
the visitation of all 3 known mirror image name pairs in the usa
whether living or ghost or actually mirrored by a mirror lake or not

beeper dan tilque has an interesting page up that includes this topic
http://www.nwlink.com/~dtilque/WWarticles/ReversedPlacenames.html
& he mentions the other 2 sets of mirror twins in colorado & pennsylvania all right
but he either didnt notice or didnt care for this third possible pair here in florida
so i am that much more excited about them as a possible new find

he also mentions nangiloc & colignan in australia as the only other known set of closely spaced mirror twins in the world
so i am hoping someone down there can bag them too & thus corner the entire world market of these rarities with me
