<div id="ygrps-yiv-91637607">I can see now why Austria favors the condominium philosophy - it would<br/>
provide them a greater share of the lake.<br/>

But we still don&#39;t know which &quot;philosophy&quot; prevailed during the Anschluss<br/>
period. Has the late &quot;Fuehrer&quot; missed a point here? Had he adopted the<br/>
condominium philosophy in time he would have caused trouble to the Swiss,<br/>
which he was always looking for.<br/>

And what a pity that Liechtenstein does not make it to the shores of Lake<br/>
Constance! We would have a fourth party to gamble with.<br/>

It appears that regulating borders is more difficult when it faces fluid<br/>
materia. On solid ground we seem to have an easier play. An inverse<br/>
proportionality to the higher value that land has over water.<br/>
