Guys...Sorry to burst the bubble, but according to
both the Fairfax and Arlington GIS sites, the boundary
is not on the walls of the complex. GIS sites can be
unreliable, but as both sites have it pass through an
extremely similar spot, I have to trust it. It passes
through a building very nearby though. The building
is hidden underneath trees in the photo. To my
eyesight, the tripoint lies 40 feet off what the sight
line of the parking lot mentioned would give you. The
reason behind the oddity is that the parcel boundary
is what gives the parking lot or building its shape,
but the parcel boundary is not on the county boundary.
The DC site
http://dcgis.dc.gov/DetailMap/viewer.htm from DC can
give a good idea of the rock positioning with
http://magellan.co.arlington.va.us/arlims/onpoint and
http://icare.fairfaxcounty.gov/Main/Home.aspx will
give you a good idea of the buildings.
http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/gisapps/parcelviewer/parcels.asp?operation=ortho
is good but a little hard to maneuver.
By the way, for a good map of Breddin, an enclave
between two German provinces, the
http://www.mapforfun.de has good maps either under
either Brandenburg or Sachsen-Anhalt.
