thanx eef

it doesnt look too terribly official
does it

no inscriptions evident

just sledge marks i think

of course the proof of the pudding
could begin with finding similar or preferably identical pipe
stems marking other baarle corners & turn points

so for starters
have you or has anyone ever seen anything else like this there

or what other kinds of corner markers have actually been seen

but in any case & probably better yet
the cadastral data are quite precise here
as i recall
as well as available

so another way to confirm the authenticity or at least the accuracy
of this marker
up to a point
would be to lay a high quality gps receiver on it & compare its
readings to the officially published geocoords

this may still not prove anything absolutely
but then we will at least learn for sure if we still have somewhere
to go here

being asked for. It seems an ordinary steel pipe. If this pipe has
any official status is unclear. If this is similar to the one Brendan
Whyte has seen, only he can tell.
