gate mentioned in message 1450<br/>
so if you can find that huge mosque there on your topo<br/>
petter<br/>
you will be able to guess how far & in which direction<br/>
it is from there to the bggrtr tripoint in the river<br/>
<br/>
the foto at lower right may also refer to this area or<br/>
else to the nearby turkish town of kapikule<br/>
which however is much farther from the tripoint than<br/>
the bulgarian border town of kapitan andreevo <br/>
pictured at upper right<br/>

so most likely that very pic <br/>
&or the turkish border post pic<br/>
represent our closest visit to date<br/>

curiously the article in message 1450 also mentions<br/>
that the river passes beneath the border gate<br/>
so maybe this suggests an alternative explanation for<br/>
the damlike structure you see on your map<br/>

still i cant imagine what kind of a border gate could<br/>
cross such a big river or any river for that matter<br/>
<br/>
but is there any way you could beam it up for us<br/>
