indeed not just this one de facto recognition of the turkish parts
of cyprus

consider the special recognition & assistance from europe
herself
of which cyprus is now part
notwithstanding the cyprian nonrecognition of the european
recognition

very funny

but so far it looks to me like the same old de facto borders
& the same 4 de facto tripoints
& not really any new international borders or tripoints

nor do i expect any to ever be added here
but only subtracted

for now
assuming the united nations buffer zones are entirely within
europe
as was just reported
& since the cygb borders still exist
the 2 cygbun tripoints must still exist too
even if entirely within europe now
& the 2 gbtyun tripoints havent budged
& remain on the border of europe

but it is also rather funny to find the united nations parts of
europe still buffering the turkish parts of cyprus from the cyprus
parts of europe
yet not buffering the turkish parts of cy from the gb part of europe

& when the turkish parts of cyprus are finally sucked into europe
like east germany was
i assume the united nations will then finally leave cyprus

so the only remaining international borders will all be de jure
& indeed all cygb
tho presumably somewhat different from the original & present
cygb borders
provided gb keeps her word about giving some territory back to a
reconstituted cyprus
