Day 2:
BEFR expedition with local, Nicolette hangs out
with local female friend
I find BEFR surprisingly poorly marked and
maintained. Take many photos
Local friend is journalist and has interview with
former BE customs officer, I go along. His friend is writing book about BE
border markers, and gets my address...
Day 3: BE (Poperinge) -> FR (Paris). Eiffel
Tower
Day 4: We decided to stay in Paris. Hotel near
tripoint of the three Paris arrondisements 9, 10 and 18. I only figured that out

Tripoint is possibly at the trafic island beacon, but I don't know how well the
boundaries are defined.
Day 5: Paris - > Disneyland -> BE -> LU
(Troisveirges)
Day 6: LU (Troisveirges) -> Luxembourg City
(go on touristic train) -> FR (Monsdorf , GCEBE) -> LU ->
visit Schengen -> DE -> FR, visits DEFRLU -> DE -> LU -> DE ->
LU (Troisveirges)
Day 7: LU (Troisveirges) -> BE -> DE, car
engine break down 60 km from DEDK-ferry. Make use of our European car 24h
insurance, http://www.ADAC.de cannot fix car,
and they tow us to the ferry. Car coughs on board, coughs off in DK. We will
leave car in port, take train. Awwwww. Last train gone!!!! 10 PM!!! Calls
friends 95 km from there (Næstved-Slagelse area). They collect us and we arrive
at their place at
Day 8: 2 am. After breakfast bus to Slagelse, then
train to Høje Taastrup, cab to Hedehusene (home).
Car still in port....... 143 km from
here.........
