rhode island announces
the 1930s disk markers will indeed again be ignored
http://tinyurl.com/2z8t8

& if this is confirmed by connecticut as expected
then ctmari wont budge
&
the only remaining possibilities of gain or loss of territory to
either state will become minuscule in every case & will have to
do only with the 13 missing 1840 rocks

thus the only outstanding & tiny question is
were the positions of these missing rocks recovered

for regardless of how stupidly this whole affair has gone so far
i still cant imagine the commissioners bypassing known or even
approximately known marker positions just because the rocks
themselves werent recovered

so unless these positions also have been utterly lost
which would moot the question of territorial gain or loss anyway
it now looks like the imminent & final score will indeed be 0 to 0
