thats ok rolf

your version may still be correct

& i still dont think we can be sure of much yet
even with the maps

indeed if anybody is sure of anything at all here
i wish they would indicate exactly what it is
& especially why they are sure of it

the only things i have seen or heard so far that i think we can
probably count on are that the coats of arms on the 3 obelisks
face toward & are equidistant from the tripoint

but i dont even know yet if all 3 obelisks are even intervisible
or if there is any point from which you can even see all 3 at once
so as to get an approximate or trial location for the tripoint
before checking it with measurements

the creeks & other markers may possibly mark the boundaries
but i dont think we actually know about any of that yet for a fact

the detail map appears to indicate at least one of the creeks
by a directional arrow alongside one of the apparent border lines
& it may thus even indicate both creeks & their junction

& so it may even be depicting the tripoint at or as that junction

but i am not certain this would be a correct reading of the map

of course if we could place the 3 obelisks on the map
or even just place them in a sketch
that might help corroborate things
