lives in Goa ..Perhaps he is in a good position to know..I will next <br/>
attempt to contact Hammond Atlas and see if they have simply made an <br/>
error.  <br/>

Well it is definitely an error that Anjediv is a part<br/>
of Daman and Diu.  But obviously this error may be<br/>
unintended.  Take a look. Goa was liberated on 19<br/>
12.1961 and at that time the Daman and Diu was a part<br/>
of Goa.  Anjediv though geographically set apart from<br/>
Goa was under the revenue taluka (administrative<br/>
headquarters of Canacona and is so till this date. <br/>
Goa became a State i.e. the 25th State of India on 30<br/>
May 1987 at the same time Daman and Diu continued to<br/>
be Union Territory . Therefore most of the laws<br/>
applicable to the erstwhile Union Territory of Goa<br/>
Daman and Diu still do continue in Daman .<br/>

You could therefore go ahead and get the error on<br/>
Anjediv rectified on the Atlas.<br/>
