From the maps, the tripoint is located in the middle of Tumugan
river, north of the railway bridge connecting Korea PDR and Russia.
Yet, as one picture shows, there is a tripoint border marker from
1999 located by the gravel road. From the sides of the tripoint
marker, the photographer took the picture from north. On the side
facing the gravel road is written Russia in russian. Then, China is
to the right and Korea PDR to the right as well, but also lot of it
straight ahead, which means the right bank of the river Tumugan.
Russia is to the left, as is the road and the entire left bank of the
river Tumugan. The tripoint, however, lies most likely entirely on
the russian soil.
