well that was a capital tetrantipodes celebration both here in
cyberspace & on the ground here as well

i did indeed find a copy of sailing to philadelphia & was able to
listen to the first 30 seconds of each cut
including james taylor holding forth as charles mason
can you dig it
quite rousing actually

it turns out this is not new music tho
but rolling stones number 7 album of 2000

then risked another scouting & pointing expedition as far as doelot
aka nmtx3doelot or us2nmtx3doelot
http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?lat=32.0029&lon=-106.3784&datum=nad83
where i found no clear evidence of a tripoint
tho i had a firm grasp on nmtx for miles
first as a fence line & then as a utility pole line too
running 2 feet apart & both arrow straight give or take a foot
til the fence line completely wiggled out
leaving me to guess diffidently at the precise tripoint position
since i had missed the few markers i later found on the topos

certainly very near the junction of state line drive with a newly
added county line drive
but like exactly where

the trip involved all the usual careful testing of the horizon
plus a foray up the war road into white sands missile range & fort
bliss military reservation
looking for a chute or ladder or trap door in reality that could get
me past the dogs of war
but i soon concluded that even if the missile site was crossable by
road in several directions as the maps show
it wasnt worth the additional risk of military search & seizure since
it probably wouldnt get me past the choke points on either of the
roads to alamogordo anyway

i know going for doelot before chnmtx may have seemed timid of me
as if a mere upstart interstate tricounty point could ever stand up
to a pending international tristate point
but i think i will wait a while longer still before trying chnmtx
at least til my stash & jeopardy shrink a little

thats on the real front line down there you know
