<div id="ygrps-yiv-1950643828">Today on August 12th 2003 the Lithuanian foreign minister Mr. Antanas<br/>
Valionis and the Russian ambassador Mr. Yuri Zubakov signed the final<br/>
ratification of the Lithuanian-Russian state border agreement which makes it<br/>
a legal document. Lithuania is the first country which has reached so far<br/>
concerning ratification with Russia.<br/>
Now the joint border commission is expected to be formed in order to make<br/>
the present administration line between the two countries into an<br/>
international border.<br/>
