first you may recall the story thus far
by detail map
http://www.info.lncc.br/wrmkkk/bo3dd.html
& by photo
tho only of the nearby witness monument on the paraguay side
http://www.info.lncc.br/wrmkkk/bptrip.html
which might as well have been a zoom shot from bobrpy itself
at the thalweg junction in the river confluence
but the real tripoint is certainly far behind the real photographer
so next is another speculative aerial photo try
http://tinyurl.com/iym6
with the same chance of success as the recent arbopy aerial try
or perhaps somewhat better
since the critical sector is shorter & the area in view larger
& an account of an excursion to the point
with a first close view of the river paraguai at eye level
http://www.continentalwaterways.com/pages/paraguay-itin.htm
& some close aerial shots of the rio negro in the tripoint vicinity
http://www.natour.com.br/photogallery/gallery-one.asp?tipotour=
3&destino=2&codigo=40
of course not to be confused with the amazonian rio negro of
brcove
but none of this amounts to anything more than a fictitious or lets
say extremely wishful visit
the best of my haul however is a frankly & purely fictional account
of a traveler who bought a boatride continuation on bobr while
traveling up brpy but slept thru the tripoint & was taken up bopy
instead by the unscrupulous captain
there is even a description of the village just below the tripoint
puerto bahia negra
where he fell asleep
but the author too then somehow falls asleep at this point &
confuses the rio negro with the pilcomayo
so you get the feeling not only that you have slept thru the tripoint
but that you have actually just passed arbopy rather than bobrpy
& when the hero finally emerges from a subsequent coma & the
jungle he is mysteriously transported not to arbopy or bobrpy
but precisely to arbrpy
i kid you not
anyway youll have to see & follow this one to believe it
but i will tell you the tripointing action doesnt begin til almost
halfway thru this multi preposterous story
