The Oxford Latin Dictionary (1997):<br/>

Trifinium:  A place where three boundaries meet.<br/>
<br/>
Quadrifinium:  A place where four boundaries meet.<br/>
<br/>
I found no &quot;...finium&quot; for five boundaries or more.<br/>
<br/>
I prefer &quot;trifinium&quot; to the uninspiring &quot;tripoint.&quot;  As a Latin word it also <br/>
has a universality that &quot;tripoint&quot; does not.  I wonder how the non <br/>
native-English speakers in this group feel about these terms.  I also wonder if there is <br/>
a specific word in any other language to describe a trifinium?  <br/>
