<div id="ygrps-yiv-1328603926">A new Wilson Bridge is under construction immediately south of the<br/>
existing span.  As a result, the highway portion within the District<br/>
will be noticably shorter in a couple of years than it is now.  The DC<br/>
employee who works in the watchtower will be out of a job, even though<br/>
the new bridge will be a drawbridge.<br/>
