in a nutshell again now<br/>
i am looking for the shortest entirely geodetic international border in the <br/>
world<br/>

you have already identified & confirmed a leading candidate in baarle 209 <br/>
meters long<br/>

& as far as i can see<br/>
so far<br/>
thats the one to beat<br/>

now since claves with an area of 3476 square meters or less stand a chance <br/>
of producing a shorter border<br/>
i am interested in first identifying all the cooch behar claves smaller than <br/>
that size<br/>
& in then carefully examining the nature & length of the perimeter of each <br/>
such candidate<br/>
in as much exact detail as is presently known or knowable<br/>
so as to further qualify or completely disqualify each of them<br/>
<br/>
now i get the feeling there may only be a small handful of such qualifier <br/>
claves in all of cooch behar<br/>
& just knowing which ones they all are by size & name would be a big <br/>
advancement for me<br/>
for that would at least entirely surround the question for the first time<br/>
<br/>
& you may just be able to rattle these all straight off to me from your book <br/>
or memory<br/>
i dont know<br/>

but that alone would be an enormous start<br/>

& then secondly<br/>
if i could somehow just pick your book<br/>
but preferably your brain too<br/>
for any further pertinent details<br/>
clave by clave & border by border<br/>
wherever necessary & wherever possible<br/>
even so random & preliminary a search as this might still suffice to qualify <br/>
or disqualify all candidates<br/>
or to at least narrow the field substantially farther than we have done so <br/>
far<br/>

just knowing a stray detail such as the rice paddy border you mentioned <br/>
could make or break a candidate<br/>
for example if that rice paddy wasnt geometric but rather of a natural shape<br/>
etc etc<br/>

but unless we actually try to gather & examine all the available data<br/>
then we just wont know all that can even presently be known here<br/>

indeed your book may already contain enough &or you may already know enough <br/>
to answer the question<br/>
but just without your or our fully realizing that yet<br/>

but that is in fact my hunch & my guess at this point<br/>
