this is fantastic

how long do you think penon & gibraltar are

i would like to make a short list of the worlds shortest known
international boundaries
of both the individual & total types you have distinguished
with actual measurements
since i think that may ultimately be necessary to be sure of some of the
winners

for the mythic botswana zambia boundary for example brownlie gives 5 basic
theses & several combinations of these as well
but the bottom line is
it could run anywhere from perhaps a kilometer down to the infinitesimal

maybe the italy & knights of malta boundary could weigh into the total
class too at perhaps a few hundred meters
tho it might have to bear an asterisk for its obscurity

a serious candidate in the individual category
the smallest second order enclave on the military map of baarle appears to
have a perimeter of about 210 meters
