gideon says there are some african boundaries for which no international
agreement has been publicized & others for which none even exists

he also makes it clear that asian dry land boundaries are usually marked
& therefore presumably asian dry land tps are too

a rare & telling exception is the 47 mile afghanistan china boundary
entirely unmarked between its mountaintop tps because it runs thru
uninhabitable territory china didnt even realize it shared with afghanistan
until 1963

it is probably marked however at its north tp because the adjacent
afghanistan tajikistan boundary there has been marked since 1895 right up
to the tp

& it is probably marked also at or near its south tp because the adjacent
or nearly adjacent afghanistan pakistan boundary there
except for a short gap near khyber pass
has also been marked from end to end since 1896
& therefore presumably from tp to tp
tho both of these tps are likewise mountain peaks
& the relevant one to china is slightly in dispute
etc

& every case is of course unique but
etc
etc

also i once saw a first hand account of the tp mozambique southafrica zimbabwe
which is called the crooks corner of the game preserve in zimbabwe there
because of all the transborder poaching
possibly a fairly common situation around third world tps
& a very rare case where africans might be faster than friendly
