Ok, maybe I lost the train of messages that told me,
but I am just curious in knowing exactly where the
tripoint lies. The map I copied from www.swissgeo.ch
shows the tripoint to be in the river. So, if
possible, can somebody circle the place where the
monument is and e-mail it back to me. I am attaching
the map at the end of the e-mail.
Also while we are judging zoomable maps of countries,
why not just include the above-mentioned website.
There are also good maps in the canton sites of
http://www.ag.ch/agis/ ,
http://stadtplan.bsonline.ch/karte.cfm and
http://195.176.237.239/topoweb/ which rivals all the
other mentioned sites in detail. I know Switzerland
is a small country, but you can go to building level
on some of the websites. Now that is zoomability! By
the way, the basel site has better maps of the area in
the map, but I could not copy it.
Arif
