No, according to the Times atlas of the world (2000 edition), your
mountain is about 10 miles SE of the tripoint which appears to be on
lines of lat and long, and from the atlas seems to be 25deg east and
22south.
Best bet for amateur tripointers in Africa (or Asia or south America
even) would be buying TPC maps (Tactical Pilotage Charts) from NOAA
in the USA. About USD5 per sheet, gets you a huge chart.
Their 'catalog' is free, and contians a nice index of TPCs, ONCs
(1:1million) and JNCs (1:2million).
They are in Riverdale, Md from memory. They airmail the charts to you
free too!
