I have it in my notes that Namibia's "Caprivi Strip" ALMOST reaches a
four-country point with Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Clockwise around the possible quadpoint we have Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe,
Botswana. So if Namibia neighbors Zimbabwe AND Zambia neighbors Botswana,
that could only mean a quadpoint.

However, the CIS WOrld Factbook
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/wa.html#geo
lists the land boundaries of Namibia and does NOT include Zimbabwe!

checking Zimbabwe, same result, i.e., here, Namibia is not included:
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/zi.html#geo

checking Zambia, and, wow, BOTSWANA is NOT LISTED!
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/za.html#geo

and for Botswana, ZAMBIA is not listed!
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/bc.html#geo

So, if CIA is correct here, then
(a) the four countries must indeed meet at a point and
(b) CIA does not count meeting-at-a-point as a boundary.

(Or, there is a hole;
or CIA is in error;
or CIA is not telling all they know...)
