After checking my photos taken in 1990 of the NM-OK-TX
marker my conclusion is that it is the same one as shown
in David's photo and the one with Jane. So, even though
it appears we are all on the same wave length, Mike keeps
insisting on a different frequency. In my book I made an
unfortunate choice of captions for the tri-point picture.
I labeled it as, "an easy one to find." Now, I wonder if
that was a wise choice of words. I thought I had some info
on the other markers in that area but can't find it now.

Re the Clark Monument, which was at the edge of US 56 at the
NW corner of Texas, we drove right by it without stopping in
1990. That was a big mistake. I understand that since then
a road widening project resulted in removal of the Clark
Monument, but there is a marker of some sort under the
pavement. No info as to whether there is a man-hole cover
over the marker. Does anyone know what happened to the
original Clark Monument?
