The May 2001 issue of "GPS World" has an interesting (to techies, anyway)
four page article on the use of differential GPS data in mapping coastal
boundaries between the US and Mexico, with four survey campaigns providing
the baseline coordinates required for a boundary treaty. I tried to obtain
permission from the publisher to reproduce the article in BoundaryPoint,
but they wanted $50 based on approximately 50 users. Reprints are
available from the publisher, but the minimum order is 500 reprints! The
following information may prove helpful in obtaining a copy of the magazine
from your local library:
