only an idea
but no proof
in allocations involving bodies of water & the islands within them
the principle of equitability seems to trump that of convenience
especially in remote areas &or cases where the islands are uninhabited
all other things being equal or negligible
besides
the islands themselves make pretty good markers
whether monuments are erected on them or not
the situation may not be quite so lopsided toward scandinavia as it seems tho
