the towers in the first & last photos here by doug
http://www.geocities.com/TheTropics/Cabana/9282/pointroberts2.html
actually mark
or very narrowly miss but certainly dominate
a nicely matched pair of binational tripoints
namely bccwwa1 & bccwwa2 respectively
comprising the 2 more westerly & most illustrious of the 3 bccwwa trijunctions
all together forming that unusual set of triplet tripoints
shared by
british columbia province &
the candian federal waters aka crown waters &
washington state or the usa

these 2 tripoints & their towers are extra special not only because of
their near definitive relations with kinky point roberts
but also because the first of them marks the western land terminus of the
longest nominally undefended boundary in the world

the third & odd member out of the trio
bccwwa3
is a bit farther east of point roberts
between white rock bc & blaine wa
where the continental caus megatranssect begins or ends in earnest
hopefully right behind this tower

& thus also hopefully just blocked from view by it too
