Note that the Japanese (Okino-tori shima) (and the Icelandic: Kolbeinsey) are cheating a bit,
according to the UNCLOS. In Part VIII, art. 121-3, it says: "Rocks which cannot sustain human
habitation or economic life of their own shall have no exclusive economic zone or continental
shelf."
