multi apologies about the multi aberrated data i have been posting lately<br/>

it must be my new prescription<br/>
& i will try to clear everything up as well as possible<br/>
<br/>

first<br/>
about the benelux germany situations<br/>
so far only the defrlu trisovereign boundary line aka triline certainly <br/>
terminates in mutually distinctive trisovereign points<br/>
<br/>
by contrast the bedelu triline<br/>
which also terminates in multisovereign points<br/>
links a more or less normal tripoint with a unique trisovereign quadripoint<br/>
but only if the still merely hypothesized bede condominium is found to <br/>
actually exist in reality apart from my mind<br/>
<br/>
& if not<br/>
then this triline terminates just like the other triline in 2 mutually <br/>
distinctive but otherwise more or less ordinary tripoints<br/>
<br/>
however<br/>
another untested assumption<br/>
within all this bedelu topology or geometry or whatever you call it<br/>
is that the belu boundary does not also involve a condominium<br/>
<br/>
indeed it is hard to imagine as a belu condo that little ribbach creek which <br/>
peter hering previously named & described so poignantly here<br/>
<br/>
much more likely would be an ordinary belu boundary line following the <br/>
thalweg or bank of the ribbach to its confluence with the ours<br/>
  which i believe is also peters view<br/>
& so that is still my presumption in guessing at the above scheme<br/>
<br/>
but it really would be nice to have hard data on both the bede & belu <br/>
boundaries here so as to clear all this up<br/>
as well as the question of the possible bebedede condominial tripoint<br/>
which btw i may have also misplaced up or down the river ours<br/>
since from out here i am frankly unsure which way it flows<br/>

meanwhile back in florida<br/>
more of the same mess<br/>

  yes that must make this a multi first<br/>
    the first such in history i think<br/>
i must back up to correct a previous oversimplification<br/>
<br/>
it is just not true that all the dry multi county points of florida must <br/>
legally be marked with the 4x4x24 inch concrete tablet of the sort bill <br/>
first found at laorospo<br/>
<br/>
that was only my extravagant presumption<br/>
<br/>
for there is actually also a legal alternative format which i disregarded <br/>
because it seemed so improbable to me personally<br/>
consisting of a 1 inch iron pipe stem similarly buried 2 feet in the ground <br/>
& with its top similarly flush to ground level<br/>
<br/>
i simply couldnt believe such a primitive style of marker might be used to <br/>
demarcate such important points<br/>
& that was my mistake<br/>
for i do now believe i may have found such a one yesterday at hahipo<br/>
aka the hardee highlands polk tricounty point<br/>
& possibly another at dehahi<br/>
de meaning de soto<br/>

however there are additional aberrations or problems with both of these <br/>
supposed finds<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
at or near hahipo<br/>
where i was rudely awakened to find my first undeniable pipe stem<br/>
i realized actually only many miles farther up the road that i never really <br/>
had a clear fix on the position here because my mapwork was never carefully <br/>
confirmed<br/>
& thus that the pipe i found may not actually have been the tripoint pipe<br/>
but might just as easily have been the marker for a different section corner <br/>
nearby<br/>
rather than the correct section corner<br/>
<br/>
embarrassing but true<br/>
& hard to believe with benefit of hindsight<br/>
but yes hahipo needs a revisit<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
even worse in retrospect is that during my visit to dehahi earlier in the <br/>
day<br/>
when i saw what i took to be the tripoint<br/>
  a circled dot spray painted orange on a grassy roadside<br/>
i never even thought to check whether the dot wasnt the top of a pipe stem <br/>
rather than just a point in the expected location freshly surveyed & marked <br/>
on grass<br/>
as it indeed appeared to be<br/>
<br/>
again hard to believe etc etc<br/>
as it is so unlike me not to touch a multipoint<br/>
& as i still wasnt even thinking in terms of pipe stems at that point<br/>
<br/>
so both points need a revisit<br/>
haha<br/>

my third & final try of the day was also my second in a year at the now <br/>
notorious hahimapo<br/>
  with bills leave of course since he was busy yesterday<br/>
where i was at least able to determine that the quadripoint position <br/>
indicated by the usgs<br/>
about 63 feet due south of the intersection of the two roadway centerlines<br/>
lies not on the fairway of the road shoulder but well into deep rough<br/>
which in this case is a rather intense swampy thicket behind barbed wire & <br/>
frankly not recommended for even the most intrepid of macheteros<br/>
<br/>
bill<br/>
i think i would sooner recheck my work at dehahi & hahipo<br/>
or try plausible virgins like brcohe or chdesa or chglhele<br/>
rather than this monster hahimapo<br/>
as our next great hope for another 4x4x24 slug<br/>
<br/>
for i now think the truth is<br/>
  & wish i had said it right the first time<br/>
you can never know for sure which kind of marker you will get for your <br/>
trouble<br/>
if indeed either kind<br/>
<br/>
brian & i have enjoyed a similar sort of mystery with the 3 varieties of the <br/>
many mileposts that occur or dont occur along the many boundary<br/>
  many meaning massachusetts newyork in that case<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
one additional lingering curiosity<br/>
now that we have found examples of both kinds of marks<br/>
is why florida likes its monuments so low to the ground<br/>
<br/>
like doesnt she realize how easily they might get covered over<br/>
especially on dusty road shoulders etc<br/>
<br/>
or is she just afraid someone might trip on one & take a header if they were <br/>
any higher<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
in any event it would be hard to imagine more challenging & entertaining <br/>
targets than her invisible ones for the likes of us monumental sharpshooters<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
once again multi strange & indeed more laffs than progress<br/>
but we have all the time in the world for that<br/>
<br/>
