brownlie 1979 agrees with arif
& gives particulars about tribal raids & customary grazing lands etc
& actually indicates more than just 2 certain versions of these lines in places
mentioning various reasons of convenience & security

btw cia maps also agree
but have recently dropped the kenya admin part
so they may be on to something new here

actually brownlie gives several pages on these borders i will send you
including the entirely dissimilar originating documents
which date from 1899 for egypt & 1914 for kenya
