NdeM 9249 and another GP38-2 depart Monterrey, Nuevo León, Tuesday, December 26, 1978, with El Regiomontano, the overnight train to México, D.F. Bryan Flint, who sent us this photo, says that he took it "about half an hour after sunset." On that date, the sun sat in Monterrey at 17:58 (5:58 p.m.). NdeM's 9200-series GP38-2's were built in 1975 and 1976.
