The crew of Ferromex SD40-2 8744, still in FNM paint, waits under an overpass near TFM's Monterrey yard on December 20, 1999. There is some doubt whether this is the original NdeM SD40-2 8744, built in late 1973. The number has been on and off rosters at various times.
