These 1978 photos by Dr. John A. Kirchner depict the funicular railway at the Grutas de García near Villa García, Nuevo León. For many years, the railway carried visitors to the caverns' entrance high on the mountainside at upper right. It has since been replaced by an aerial cableway (teleférico).
