ceuta & melilla<br/>
  borders date from mid 19th c treaties<br/>
  land boundaries are 8 & 10km respectively<br/>
    & coastal boundaries 20 & 4km<br/>
  but melilla is also surrounded by 1km neutral zone<br/>
  sovereignty & territorial waters are in dispute<br/>
<br/>
brunei<br/>
  381km land boundary w malaysia is in 2 separate sections<br/>
    divided by limbang river valley & brunei bay<br/>
    & mostly following watersheds<br/>
  disputed 19th c colonial boundary accepted in 1984<br/>
<br/>
st martin<br/>
  bdy dating from 1648 divides island into nearly equal north & south halves<br/>
    passing in mostly gentle curves over low hills & a large lagoon<br/>
  line is scarcely noticeable on the ground<br/>
  no customs or immigration controls whatsoever<br/>
