Well, this was a different tripoint in 1727 (at least according to the data<br/>
I have).<br/>

The stream is the border between the Dutchy Schleswig (far bank) and the<br/>
Kingdom of Denmark.<br/>

Well, what was the the third border then?<br/>
<br/>
It was the customs border. For practical reasons the political border and<br/>
customs borders differed. So Danes staying North of Kolding Stream had to<br/>
pay customs if they entered Denmark between Kolding Stream and the political<br/>
border.<br/>
<br/>
Left of the marker was the area that was Danish, but customswise Schleswig.<br/>
