having slept at the railroad crossing on county line road
about midway between bacaja & bajawa
which are only 3 miles apart
i awoke from vivid dreams before daybreak
& was able to bag both tripoints before sunrise
tho nothing more definitive could be found at either point than the ordinary & predictable fence corners
with not even a pipestem for demarcation

& frankly i am running out of readily accessible florida multicounty points
so it looks like my survey will bog down now with only
1 blue dot at laorospo
1 pipestem at dehahi
1 buoy at glhemaokpa
& lots of fence corners & gator sloughs

it makes me wonder how they marked the public land survey corners here in the first place
since nothing but the subsequent fencing evidently remains
even at the most important corners

but anyway
next i bolted for port st joe
to try to get that official gulf county time zone map
but soon regained my senses in construction & congestion delays
& adjusted my heading so as to strike the emerald coast well west of panama city instead
& even then it has been slow going all day around here too

next target after a rest stop planned for pensacola beach is flnw & the purportedly easy to find ellicott mound just to its east
& then perhaps stockton alabama
where there is supposed to be another ellicott mound only 1200 feet offroad
but i think one 205 year old mound would be plenty

thanx martin for the territorial waters tripoints

must run now
