well the cartoon says nobodys land in spanish
but neutral territory really means neithers land in latin
such nobodys lands tho are a common feature of several of the
spanish clave situations
beachhead standoff claves with permanent built in military buffer
zones even after de jure recognition
so i think they resemble dmzs more than they do neutral
moresnet or the other condominiums
btw the term nobodys land is preferable to no mans land
a common mistranslation of it
since nobodys clearly excludes women & children too
so unlike neithers land & no mans land
nobodys land is a complete vacuum of ownership
& since nature abhors a vacuum
it is anyones & everyones land almost as soon as it is no ones
but if it were merely neutral it couldnt possibly belong to everyone
since its neutrality restricts it from belonging to spain & morocco
