the narrowest part of the kentucky bend bubble<br/>
ie the dry segment of kytn lying between kymotnl & kymotnm<br/>
is not the same thing as the narrowest part of the neck itself<br/>
as i erroneously implied or said yesterday<br/>
<br/>
rather the narrowest possible transsection of the neck occurs <br/>
entirely within tn & lies a couple of miles south of the bubble<br/>

also <br/>
since the idl & the ruus boundary between big & little diomede is <br/>
not an equidistance line but simply a meridional divide<br/>
the several tripoints that lie on it arent quite equidistant from the <br/>
2 islands<br/>
as i also erroneously implied or said yesterday<br/>
but naturally all such tripoints occur slightly closer to whichever <br/>
island is closer to that line<br/>
which happens to be big diomede for the northerly tripoint twins<br/>
& little diomede for the southerly tripoint twins</div>
