oops
the narrowest part of the kentucky bend bubble
ie the dry segment of kytn lying between kymotnl & kymotnm
is not the same thing as the narrowest part of the neck itself
as i erroneously implied or said yesterday

rather the narrowest possible transsection of the neck occurs
entirely within tn & lies a couple of miles south of the bubble

also
since the idl & the ruus boundary between big & little diomede is
not an equidistance line but simply a meridional divide
the several tripoints that lie on it arent quite equidistant from the
2 islands
as i also erroneously implied or said yesterday
but naturally all such tripoints occur slightly closer to whichever
island is closer to that line
which happens to be big diomede for the northerly tripoint twins
& little diomede for the southerly tripoint twins
