featuring the sleuthing & retracing in 1928 of the first leg of the <br/>
original ncsc 1735 boundary survey by means of oral history & <br/>
dendrochronology<br/>

was then inspired to retrace this 43 mile diagonal line myself in <br/>
largest scale at topozone <br/>
only to find long stretches of it unmonumented <br/>
& even labelled by the usgs as approximate<br/>
in rare certification of such neglect<br/>

even the turnpoint at the end appears unmonumented on the <br/>
topo <br/>
& you may recall the other terminus was marked only by a no <br/>
nudity sign on the beach<br/>
<br/>

in the process i also discovered a previously unreported <br/>
interstate tertiary megapoint<br/>
not far behind that funky south of the border resort on i 95<br/>
which i imagine many members may recall from experience<br/>
or more precisely at the wet point where the north carolina <br/>
counties of columbus & robeson meet the south carolina <br/>
counties of dillon & horry<br/>
<br/>
so this presents us2ncsc3codihoro by scientific name<br/>
the latest of probably fewer than 10 such state line termegapt <br/>
marvels in the usa <br/>
if not the entire world<br/>
since nonamerican ones are unknown<br/>
<br/>
i am still in process of rounding them all up tho<br/>
