bravo maestro
you must be the champion of virtual trypointing
tho i confess i have lost all count & track of our collection
& here is not only the monument
but the panoramic view from it too
probably another bp first
ibs no 12 indicates the tripoint has occupied this position only
since 1919
which explains the youthful appearance of the monument
the cross appears to be an integral part of the monument
which all together still looks practically vertical
dont you agree
so the tripoint presumably still sits high aloft on the tiny top face
but the cross also appears to be festooned with barbed wire
perhaps to prevent overenthusiastic climbers or tripointers from
continuing to climb much beyond the peak
which btw looks to be situated a little beside the monument
another point of curiosity for whenever our first bp investigators
actually arrive on the scene
but in any case this feels to me like the most realistic & inspired
virtual visit we have ever made to anywhere
