for example
you can see the area in question near the east end of the island
along the north shore of the little gulf called oyster pond
but this map shows the boundary slightly inland from the coast

however captain olivers hotel situated just there boasts
waterfront suites on french soil
& a dining room over dutch waters

there is only one boundary marker on the entire island
which is really more of a monument to the unity of the island
than to its division
celebrating a complete lack of border trappings & awareness
but the bigger problem is that no treaty text has yet been found
