I have updated information on the highly interesting<br/>
Austrian salient at Mueselbach.<br/>
<br/>

The area is very interesting, as it contains many<br/>
border crossings and is perfect for hiking. It is<br/>
hilly but not mountainous.<br/>
<br/>
The letters A, B and C on the map will help you find<br/>
the spots where the following pictures were taken.<br/>
<br/>
The road (pink on the map) leading through the salient<br/>
is a dirt road but perfectly usable for an ordinary<br/>
car. Granted, there are signs telling you that if you<br/>
are not a local farmer, and also not a member of the<br/>
BP fraternity, the road is not for you. But it still<br/>
works...<br/>

house just visible to the left is the restaurant<br/>
Eibelesmuehle, which by the way has an excellent mixed<br/>
sausage salad on the menu. And, more important, on the<br/>
porch of the restaurant there *is* a &quot;Freistaat<br/>
Bayern&quot;-sign. Actually it is just behind the bushes,<br/>
but unfortunately not caught on film.<br/>
