we have already enjoyed several class e & d photos of the <br/>
guatemala honduras elsalvador tripoint <br/>
located high in the cloud forest atop montecristo <br/>
also called trifinio <br/>
meaning triborder<br/>
& situated in a triple national park<br/>
<br/>
& we might well have expected a distinctive mountain peak <br/>
with an obligatory statue of christ <br/>
if we could ever get a close enough look <br/>
on a clear enough day<br/>
<br/>
but now comes this inexplicable close up pic<br/>
without any caption or accompanying text <br/>
but with the words elsalvador & montecristo in the url<br/>

as this experimental format is the best i can hope to try<br/>

anyway it shows a parklike setting within a craterlike depression<br/>
surrounded with what looks like cloud forest all right<br/>
& surmounted by a pole <br/>
which could be a tripoint marker <br/>
& might even support a crucifix<br/>
if again we could only see it clearly & completely enough<br/>

at all events it is our first class c try at gthnsv<br/>
for whatever that may be worth<br/>
& i do presume all tries at improvement are worthy<br/>
but only time will tell if this is actually the real stuff<br/>

one could even hope that doug might settle this question<br/>
while in guatemala for bzgtmx this winter<br/>

& if he does so <br/>
he will be the first to collect all the tricountry points of north <br/>
america<br/>
