More from the Hurtubise (correct
spelling) Farm on the VT-PQ border (Richmond Vermont - Stanstead
PQ):
#1 (001) -- The Hurtubise home -- Canada is to the
left of the chimney (Dora), and the US is to the right (Lyle). Taken
looking east.
#2 (010) -- Marker directly west of their
home. I wish I had the number... whoops.
#3 (005) -- Marker west of the marker near their
home. No number, doesn't even say US-Canada. It names boundary
commissioners and the Treaty of Washington.
#4 (009) -- Same marker, but with good view of
boundary vista running to the west. Electric fence is the
Hurtubise's. They have land on both sides, but the US land is for cattle
grazing and the Canadian land is for hay.
#5 (011) -- Back of the Hurtubise home, looking
west. No markings at all. The border is probably just to the right
of the car.
#6 (008) -- Looking east from maker in
#3.

Best Vancouver excuse for being late for
work:
"A movie was being shot and they detained me for
continuity."
