 </span></blockquote>I think it&#39;s one of these claims that can never be proved. The definition <br/>
of a city seems to vary between countries and I&#39;m not aware of <br/>
international standards in this respect :-(<br/>

Scandinavian countries in particular seem to have many small(ish) <br/>
settlements that are defined as &#39;cities&#39;, even though they would not be <br/>
considered as such in other parts of the world.<br/>
