1) (file:nogrens.jpg) An unusual sign! Normaly when you cross a border you a greeted by a welcome sign. Along NOSE you have goodby sign. This is a SWEDISH sign saying "State border Norway". When entering Sweden you sign a Norwegian sign. Anybody knows the system on FINO, FISE and even NORU?

2) (file:noses.jpg) In this lake is the southernmost NOSE-border (not terminus). There should be three border markers according to Peter's topomap, but we found none. Almost in the middle of the picture you can see the mouth of a small brooklet - that's the border. Then it continues up in the lake. Photo is taken from SE.

3) (hison.jpg) Me on NOSE border marker number 1 on the divided island of Hisön (SE) / Hisøya (NO). You can see the cleared border vista, in Swedish gränsgata = border street. Visiting the island took us 2 x 4 kilometers in a canoo.
