I've found a map in a book about the Spanish possessions on/off the
Moroccan coast (Robert Rzette, Les Enclaves Espagnoles au Maroc,
Nouvelles ditions Latines, Paris 1976). The two islands, Tierra and
Mar, are called Tijzirne (or one of the two is, at least), and on this
(French?) map they are not Spanish, but Moroccan (judging by the
boundary that appears on the map).

Considering the fact that they are very small and not inhabited, who
knows, they may be next after Perejil. On the other hand, they don't
look very safe when the waves are high...

PS In this book, the isthmus to the Pen de Vlez de la Gomera is
explained as the result of the building of a road.
