It is, but actually I think neither have the same name.  The California town in the south Lake Tahoe area is (surprise!) South Lake Tahoe, much larger than it's cross-border counterpart, Stateline.  I don't think Stateline is incorporated, however.
Wendover's Nevada twin town is West Wendover, unless they have combined per a post somebody put out several months back.
