The BP sign in the photographs. Is this the Scout movement?/ i.e. Baden Powell? The symbol seems to be that of international scouting.

I was hiking today near Vancouver (Deep Cove) and fount that the trail was marked with some familiar initials. While the trail took me past all sorts of scenic vistas, there were no border markers, frontiers or customs posts to be found.
