All 1864 dedk border markers are no longer situated at their origin location. Some are placed at monuments, some used for benches, others for gravestones etc. We did find a Preussen measurement marker at the former German side a small border creek.
 
And the secret; My mothers uncle and cousin are former border guards. Something I realized after joing BoundaryPoint.
 
Find attached my oldest private border picture collection.
 
Very interesting, the Møllehus-Aventoft border crossing was closed after WW2 untill 1951, which means some of the pictures are from that period.
 
Rudbøl is where the border goes in the middle of the street. The border is actually behind the photographer looking into Denmark.
